Division 1 (Premier) is the highest level of competitive soccer offered. Division 1 is for those players whose desire, natural ability and passion for the game make them want to develop their soccer ability to the highest level they can attain. Teams compete in the GSSL league (U10 through U11 play in the District 3 League) as well as USSL Super Y-League. Teams also attend tournaments, both in, and out of state, and are expected to be competitive in State-Cup play. At the U10 through U14 age groups continued emphasis is on developing a “love of the game” as well as development of skills needed to compete more successfully at the older ages. Division 1 players are those who have been identified as having “the right stuff” to develop into collegiate players. This division represents the highest level of commitment by both players and parents. Review the Program Highlights and Costs relating to this Division.

Division 1 AC (formerly Division 2) for those who haven’t made a premier team but have the desire and commitment to play at a highly competitive level and have the opportunity to train with our professional staff. The RAGE will target to have D1 AC teams in the U10 through U15 age groups. Older age groups may be formed depending on players interested and resources available. Division 1 AC teams will play in the GSSL Silver bracket (U9 through U11 play in the District 3 AC League) and players will also be eligible to play on Super Y-League teams. Teams will attend tournaments best suited for their individual needs and will have the option to play in State-Cup. Review the Program Highlights and Costs relating to this Division.

Division 3 Traveling House (U10-U18): Division 3 is a competitive program one step below Division 2. The objective is to develop individual players and to prepare these players for potential Division 1 and 2 play. Players are selected based on athletic ability, soccer skill and level of commitment. The average season is approximately five months (July through November, plus 1+months of Tournament of Champions or Association Cup preparation/play). Teams train 3 days a week and in the past games are played on Saturdays, sometimes Sundays. Division 3 Traveling House teams will play in the District III Al Caffodio League. Traveling House teams U11 and above participate in approximately 2 - 4 tournaments per year with the possibility of Tournament of Champions and/or Association Cup. Review the Program Highlights and Cost relating to this division.

 RAGE Flight (U10, U12, U14)
RAGE Flight teams are for players interested in being slightly more competitive than the recreation division. They will receive additional training from RAGE’s technical staff and play in an in-house league. They will attend a festival at the end of the season which will allow them to play teams from other leagues of similar abilities. Their season is August through November. Review the Program Highlights and Cost relating to this division.

Division 4 , House (U6-U14) and Traveling House (U16, U19): recommended for new and developing players ranging in ages from 5 to 18 and places an emphasis on fun and learning. Tryouts are not required. Practices begin in August. Games begin the first weekend in September. The league season is 10 weeks long, ending the third weekend in November. Games are played on Saturdays. House players generally do not participate in tournaments. (Approximately 80% of the club membership). [Division 4 Rules]

 Division 5 TOP SOCCER
TOPSoccer (The Outreach Program for Soccer) is a community based soccer program for young athletes with special needs. These needs are because of a physical or mental disability that might discourage or preclude the child from participating in a sports program.
The emphasis of this program is to provide an opportunity of learning and playing soccer to any boy or girl, aged 4-19. TOPSoccer is geared toward player development rather than to competition. Athletes are placed on teams according to ability NOT by age. Our goal is to enable the thousands of young athletes with disabilities to become valued and successful members of the US Youth Soccer family.
This program is supported by both Pleasanton RAGE and Ballistic United Soccer Clubs. Together we aim to provide meaningful learning, development and physical participation opportunities to these young athletes through the game of soccer.
For more information on the TOPSoccer program contact Lisa Douglas @ rage-TopSoccer@pleasantonrage.org

The financial commitment for all Division 1 and 3 players may include the following: training fee, uniform purchase, tournament fees, coach/trainer travel expenses and personal travel expenses incurred during the year.
